HOW TO RESPOND TO:
"People will have less chance of becoming rich in the US under Democratic Socialism"

Best response:
Social mobility (how children move up or down the economic ladder in comparison with their parents) in earnings, wages and education tends to be easier in Australia, Canada and Nordic countries like Denmark, Norway, and Finland, than in the US. That means more of the rich stay rich and more of the poor stay poor here in the US.

MORE RESPONSES

  1. Under Democratic Socialism you will have room to be wealthy and successful, The idea behind Democratic Socialism is not to give doctors and hard laborers the same salary but to regulate the ridiculously high salaries, like overpaid businessmen or politicians, down to what still would be a good salary. So doctors and hard laborers would still have different salaries in a democratic socialist country, a small part of the doctors pay just goes away in taxes to give both him and the hard laborer a guarantee that if any of them falls sick they will get both have the chance to receive free medical treatment.
